MB. BS. DRCOG Reg July 1980

Male

Dr Baverstock is the longest serving GP at Dolphin House having started here in 1983. He used to be the senior partner. He has three grown-up children and apart from medicine he enjoys bird-watching, photography, gardening, scuba-diving, travelling and the occasional glass of wine – usually after surgery.

Dr Ruth Morgan
Partner

B.Pharm, MB.BS, MRCGP, DRCOG, DCH, DFFP, DPM. DCH. Registered 1994

Female

Dr Morgan initially trained as a Pharmacist at Kings College London and then studied Medicine at St. George’s Hospital Medical School, qualifying in 1993. After completing her General Practice training she spent some time in the Pharmaceutical Industry as a Medical Adviser. She returned to General Practice in 2000 and became a partner at Dolphin House Surgery in September 2001. She is a trainer and GP appraiser. Her areas of interest include Diabetes and Mental Health. Outside of work she enjoys walking her dogs and putting her feet up with a good book.

Dr Fingal O’Reilly
Partner

BSc(Hons). MB. BS. MRCGP. MRCP(UK). PGCE. MHMEd. Reg Aug 1997

Male

Dr O’Reilly, although half Irish and half Norwegian, grew up in Hertford and attended Richard Hale School. He then studied at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Medical School in London and qualified in 1996. Before training as a general practitioner he studied general medicine and thus has an interest in all internal medicine and specifically Cardiology and Elderly Care. As a result he is our main medical lead for Westgate House. With three children himself, he also has an interest in paediatrics.

His outside interests have always revolved around sports and outdoors and as his children are getting older, he is running out of excuses  for spending more time watching rather than doing that exercise. (London Irish and Arsenal if you really wanted to know). However realising that he is getting older, every year he tries to prove he is not by doing Olympic Triathlons or long cycle sportifs, this though just makes him older…..

Receptionists

We have a team of receptionists who staff our surgery in Ware.

We are aware that some patients can become quite angry over minor disagreements and we would ask every patient to be supportive of our staff who have to do as best they can for everyone concerned. We have over 15,000 patients and sometimes it can feel like we have dealt with all of them on the same day.
